IDC’s report presents an assessment of leading Business Process Platform vendors’ offerings, using a balanced group of criteria to rate the strength of their respective strategies - including portfolio differentiation and innovation - and capabilities, including strength of technical platform and business level functionality.
Alongside top scores for its business process platform strategy, product capabilities, technology platform and development environment, TIBCO also received a high score for innovation, based on its strategy of building its business process layer on top of its services platform, and also rated above-average for its ability to help customers manage their costs through the use of BPM software.
